Asian Glazed Ribs

Ingredients for Ribs and Rib Rub

    2 racks pork spareribs
    1/4 cup kosher salt
    2 Tbsp black pepper
    2 Tbsp sugar
    2 1/2 tsp 5-Spice Rub
    1 1/2 tsp ginger powder
    3/4 tsp garlic powder

How to Make It

    Thoroughly mix all ingredients. Rub ribs with rub. Let rest overnight in the refrigerator. Cut each rack into two sections.

Ingredients Rib Sauce

    1 Tbsp ginger minced
    1 Tbsp garlic minced
    1 1/2 cup gourmet Asian marinade
    1 1/2 cup grape juice
    2 Tbsp oyster sauce
    1/4 cup rice vinegar
    3 Tbsp water

How to Make It

    Combine all ingredients. Simmer for 15 minutes. Cool.

How to Grill It

    Arrange coals around the outside edge of your grill. Using a rib rack, place one section in each slot and slow cook ribs over indriect heat for 2 1/2 hours. Add briquettes as needed through grill handle holes to maintain heat. (On a gas grill, simply keep heat low.) When ribs are tender and easily pierced with fork, remove from rack and glaze with rib sauce. Serve with sweet potato fries.
