Shipping Information

All of our shipping is USPS Priority Mail and insured for the dollar value of the purchase.  The mailing charges are not estimates, but exactly what the USPS charges for the item mailed.

 

 

Return Policy

We want you to be pleased with all you find at Habitat!

 

  • For a refund, returns must be made within 30 days of purchase.

  • No merchandise may be returned without a receipt.

  • All products with defective claims will be performance-tested.

  • Returns for the full amount of sale must be in original condition, UNUSED, with original box and warranty material.

  • No returns on sale-priced items, food items, soaps, lotions, fragrances, candles, or seasonal merchandise.

  • No returns on USED non-defective products.

  • Restocking charges apply to returns of all like-new, once-tried.  We reserve the right to refuse these returns.

  • Returns for cash up to $20.00 are accepted with a cash receipt. Amounts exceeding this may be exchanged for merchandise or issued a refund check on our next payables date.

  • Credit card purchases must be returned on the same credit card and number.

  • We are not responsible for breakage once the merchandise leaves the store.

  • Gift cards and in-store credits are only redeemable for merchandise.

  • Gifts may only be exchanged for other products or in-store credit.

  • All special orders require a 50% deposit.

  • Cornerstone Credit processes all returned checks.

 

 

Donation Policy

Thank you for your interest in our store as a sponsor for your charitable organization.  Due to the amount of need in our community we are unable to assist all worthy causes. However, each year we partner with four charities.

 

Donation Guidelines


To be considered as one of our charities for the current year, we ask you to submit the following:

 

  • Name of organization.

  • What donation dollars will support.

  • Your mission statement.

  • Percentage of your charitable organization funding that is spent on overhead.

  • How Habitat Housewares is a good match for your organization.

  • Contact person

  • Contact phone #

  • Tax ID#

Each year's charitable allocations will be chosen in November for the following calendar year.
No last minute requests will be processed.
